November 15, 2018 - Thanks to our great speakers, Lanah, Marion, Mathieu and Aroua, our amazing moderators and organizers from Bredin Prat, Julia and Juliette, and a fantastic audience who really made this WaiTALK a success. The discussion really helped us to deconstruct some preconceived ideas we had – in particular the principle according to which the development of AI fully depends on access to tons of data – and also to get some new perspectives on a more technical side. The solution is definitely to be found in a compromise somewhere between the necessity for data sharing in order to improve efficiency, enabling economies of scale, development of new services, and the protection of national interests, trade secrets (for businesses) and privacy (for individuals).
