We are excited to announce the first DIVERSIFAIR webinar on Intersectional Fairness in AI, which will take place on Tuesday 10 December 2024. As proud partners of the DIVERSIFAIR Project, Women in AI is thrilled to be a part of this important initiative, co-organised with the BIAS Project.
As AI becomes more integrated into the labour market and decision-making processes, it is crucial to address the biases that these systems can perpetuate. This event will focus on the legal frameworks, practical tools, and learning opportunities that can help organisations promote fairness and inclusivity in AI systems.
Key discussions will include how AI is transforming recruitment and employee engagement while potentially reinforcing discrimination based on race, gender, and other social identities.
DIVERSIFAIR will also showcase a pioneering tool designed to make AI regulations more accessible. This interactive tool offers a visual representation of key issues such as bias, ethics, and intersectional discrimination in global AI regulations, helping users compare different policy frameworks across countries and regions.
